How the Occupy Wall Street Movement is Against the 1% Rich of USA

The Occupy Wall Street movement powered by the general public against the poker 1 percent rich and powerful elite that run the Wall Street. This movement initiated on 17th of September, 2011 in Manhattan’s Financial District, Liberty Square. Since then, this movement has quite successfully spread over a 100 cities in the United States of America. This is why it is often called the 99% movement as well, as it has the complete general population with it, except that 1% of the rich class whom this movement is against. This movement has even spread globally in more than 1,500 cities. The public is trying desperately to fight against the power of multinational corporations, major banks, the roll that Wall Street played in the economic collapse, the greatest recession that hit America, and the democratic process taking place for years.

The main inspiration behind the Occupy Wall Street movement was after witnessing how the general public brought a revolution in Tunisia and Egypt. This brought the citizens in America to get on their feet and fight against the 1% of the rich class that are writing the unfair global economy which is having a grave impact on the future lives of the public. The Occupy Poker Wall Street movement has no leader and includes people of all colors, political persuasions, race, ethnicity, and gender. The only common thing that they all share is that they belong to that 99% population who no longer wants to tolerate the corruption and greed of that 1% population of the rich class. They say that they are adopting the famous Arab Spring tactics to bring out the revolution that Arabs brought in their countries.

On 30th September, 2011 a General Assembly that represents the Occupy Wall Street movement first published its formal declaration. This publication mentioned how it acknowledges how the future of all human races depends on the cooperation offered by the members of this assembly, how this assembly must work to protect the rights of the public, that the individuals will be given full right to protect their own rights and the rights of their neighbors if ever this assembly got corrupt too, and that any democratic government cannot exist without the just power of its people and corporations should not attempt to make their wealth from the earth or the people living in it.

This movement and its assembly aim to come forward and help its people at a time when corporations have decided to give more preference to their profit rather than their people, preference to their own interests rather than what is justice, and oppressing others rather than giving equality. The main motive behind this movement is to prevent all these unjust acts from happening and to give more preference to the rights of the common people living in America and all across the globe. Many other labor unions have given their endorsements to this movement and thus giving it more strength. This is what is keeping it strong after all this time.
